Last week we heard that Ford was going to jump back into Rivian's financial circle with $5 Billion investment as a sort of joint venture. $F needs the OTA (over the air) update feature to modernize its EV offerings. Rivian needs cash. Lots of it and quickly.
This morning this post crossed our News desk about Rivian "partnering" with The Ranch at Laguna Beach, CA. These are both great indicators that there is a lot of life left in the OEM. A stark contrast to the demise of Fisker's second attempt to build EVs.
